We help children and young people facing challenges find healing and confidence through bonding with our horses
At Horses for Wellbeing, we support children and young people facing challenges by providing equine-facilitated learning and therapeutic experiences. Our work helps improve confidence, emotional regulation, and social skills in a unique and effective way.
Our equine-facilitated learning sessions help young people develop trust, emotional resilience, and self-awareness by working closely with horses.
Horses respond to emotions and body language, creating a calm and supportive environment where young people can work through their challenges.
We welcome children with SEND, providing activities that foster independence, communication, and self-esteem and our very own sensory room.
“Horses for Wellbeing made me feel more confident and happy. I really enjoyed working with the horses, especially Archie. It has helped me come out of my shell.”
100% of our young people reported feeling happier and more confident. 97% improved emotional regulation skills, 90% of parents and carers saw positive changes in their child’s well-being.
